KP people hail PM’s initiative to launch low-cost wheat flour

He said the supply of Rs 40 per kg of flour was started in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the orders of the Prime Minister and people get it easily. Wali said 100 mobile shops have started supplying low cost flour to residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that KP has been split into Abbottabad and Peshawar zones to provide rapid and systematic supply of affordable flour to residents. . He said the facility would then be expanded across the province.
Ms. Sobia Shahid, provincial chairwoman of the women’s wing of the PMLN, said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had kept another promise with the people of KP. She said over 50,000 bags of subsidized flour were sold in Abbottabad and Peshawar areas in two days.
In Abbottabad, she said about 22,070 bags of flour were sold while over 23,400 were distributed in the Peshawar area. She said the number of mobile stores will be increased to 200 by June 13 to ensure the facility is enjoyed by every deserving citizen.
Sobia said the temporary flour outlets already established will remain operational from June 9 to June 17 in the province and their number will be increased to 500. She said the government will continue the process of improving people’s lives and revival of the development process. , which had been stalled in the KP for eight years, has now started to bring quick relief to the masses.
Muhammad Naeem, a professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Swabi, said most of the hard-earned money of the poor was consumed by flour and kitchen items and that the Prime Minister’s relief program was a great blessing to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said millions of people in the province would directly benefit from the Prime Minister’s relief package. Dr. Naeem said that the positive economic reforms and policies initiated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have started yielding results in a short time and the provision of cheap wheat to people is testament to that.
Misal Khan, a retired information officer, said pensioners and widows, in addition to laborers and salaried workers, would benefit greatly from the prime minister’s relief package. He said the people of KP are very close to the heart of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as evidenced by his landmark Rs 2 billion development program for Shangla people and now Affordable Flour scheme.
Tribal elders, Malik Asghar Jan Afridi and Malik Mujata Khan Dawar also hailed the launch of the Prime Minister’s Flour Packet and called it a great blessing for the people of the merged tribal districts as well.
