The budget is a decisive step to make the country autonomous: Munda
Welcoming the Union budget presented by the central government, Union Minister Arjun Munda said on Saturday that the provisions of the budget were a decisive step towards making India self-reliant. Addressing a press conference at his residence, the senior leader said that Jharkhand was allocated Rs 27,006.59 crore under fiscal decentralization, while last year the amount was Rs 22,010 ,16 rupees. The state has been allocated about Rs 35,000 crore under different schemes. The government should use these funds to ensure that the people at the local level benefit from the programs.
He said the Union budget envisions a push for growth at the macro level with a focus on overall well-being at the micro level. India’s economic growth rate is estimated at 9.2%, which is the highest of all major economies. Under the production-linked incentives program in 14 sectors, 60 lakh new jobs will be created. The PLI program has the potential to increase production by an additional Rs 30 lakh crore. Over the next 25 years, the budget entry emphasizes development in four priorities: PM Gatishakti – Estimated budget allocation of 15,000 crore to 1 lakh crore for integrated development. The Cabinet also approved a financial expenditure of Rs 58,399 crore for tribal development.
“When we celebrate 100 years of independence 25 years from today, we will be at the top as a self-governing India. Therefore, the draft budget has been prepared keeping the autonomous economy in mind,” Munda said.
He described the 2022-23 budget as the budget to accelerate development work for the next 25 years. He noted that this budget will be important to make the country an advanced nation. Taking into account each category, the budget was presented. He said that in addition to business, this budget will also boost employment. The target of building 25,000 km of national highways was maintained in this budget, while it was decided to run 400 new Vande Bharat trains across the country. To fulfill the desire for a self-reliant India, efforts will be made to promote small and small industries. Munda said that despite the Corona outbreak, many programs have been introduced in this budget to further advance the agricultural sector. Overall, this budget will give impetus to the development of the country, which will lead to the overall development of the country.
