Watch: Indians party ahead of MLB Little League Classic

The tribe will face the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday night in the shadow of the Little League World Series.

Williamsport, PA – Sunday’s Indians game will taste a little different as the tribe heads east to Williamsport, PA to play against the Los Angeles Angels in the MLB Little League Classic.

The annual event takes place behind the Little League World Series, giving young baseball players the opportunity to befriend major league stars. Unsurprisingly, older men appreciate the opportunity to have fun as it gives them the opportunity to re-accept their inner children.

The Indians arrived in spectacular style and took part in the Little League action ahead of tonight’s game on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. All-star third baseman José Ramirez led his teammates to the stadium, holding the handle of a special relief kart as seen in “Major League”.

Later, some headed for the hills beyond the Little League complex. There, young children often slipped in the grass on cardboard. Cleveland President Chris Antonetti sparkled his eyes and rolled down the big slide, much like Slugger’s Franmil Reyes.

Others walked towards the field of wiffle balls. There, pitcher (?) Myles Straw beat Oscar Mercado after seeing a controversial call from referee Jose Ramirez.

During the festival, the Indian and MLB’s Twitter accounts decided to go back to the archives and share a photo of the current player in Little League costume.

When the game actually starts, the Tribes and Halos are a bit different from normal. Both teams will wear special uniforms for the occasion.
